Rich Bloomfield

Paid Media Manager

A brief introduction

Rich started his career as a stockbroker, trading in Japanese shares and bonds (buy low and sell high is his advice!). After a time, he decided to try his hand at something else, and went off to make his fortune on the internet.

Sadly, he didn’t make the millions he’d hoped for; instead, he found himself looking after the websites for two of Britain’s biggest non-profit organisations, the Woodland Trust and, later, the British Lung Foundation.

Rich has been with Marketing Labs since day one, looking after our clients’ online advertising. He’s responsible for Google and Bing ads, and he’s become a master at condensing a thousand words of corporate speak into a 30-character headline.

In his spare time, Rich walks one of the world’s most unpredictable dogs (a Patterdale), plays football (of sorts), watches football (mainly Liverpool) and binges on box sets. He’s currently playing a small part in trying to save the world by improving the green spaces and number of trees in his home town of Ipswich.
