What we’re looking for

We’re on the lookout for a creative, self-motivated social and content executive to join our award-winning agency.

Ideally, the perfect candidate will have at least two years of hands-on experience in a similar role within a digital marketing agency, although in-house experience is also useful.

You’ll need to be confident on the phone and in meetings and have the ability to carry out a wide range of content and social media marketing tasks with strong attention to detail. You must be able to communicate effectively with clients and the rest of the team. A proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to multitask and manage your own time will be essential. We don’t believe in micro-managing, but with the incredibly experienced team here, we’ll provide as much support as needed – being a small agency, the potential for self-development and job-role development is huge long-term for the right candidate.

The role overview

The role will consist mainly of five primary tasks:

1) Planning new content (social and blog) for a variety of clients
2) Creating content (written, video, and imagery) for multiple social platforms
3) Scheduling, monitoring and reporting on your posts
4) Managing cross-platform social media ads on behalf of clients
5) Writing long-form content (blogs, guides and white papers) for clients

This role is based at our offices in Retford, UK.

Your responsibilities
  • Day-to-day liaising via email, video call and telephone with clients
  • Creating, editing, and publishing social media posts across multiple platforms
  • Writing long-form content such as blogs and guides
  • Being involved with monthly client meetings to discuss strategies and ideas
  • Helping to plan the month for all clients across the team
  • Liaising with external partners and suppliers as required
  • Assisting the Head of Content and the broader team with content tasks

Essential criteria

  • Experience with Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn – both paid and organic
  • Experience in proofing, researching and writing long-form content
  • Experience dealing with clients in an agency environment
  • Experience collating, editing and curating data for digital marketing reports
  • A working knowledge of media scheduling tools such as Vista
  • Experience working with design software such as Adobe and Canva
  • Familiarity with G Suite apps, including Google Drive, Google Docs and Gmail
Salary
£24-26k (dependant on experience)
